My name is Theresa Gomez. I have been married for 27 years to my wonderful husband. Together we have raised our 4 children. In the summer of 2006 we became grandparents when God blessed us with two beautiful grand-daughters.
We attended Christ For The Nations Bible Institute in Dallas, Texas from 1996-1998. My husband and I both graduated with a diploma in Practical Theology. My main focus of study was Praise and Worship, including 2 years of Tambourine training through Magrate Yap from Malaysia. I also studied Flag twirling, Jewish folk dance, Worship dance, and sign language in worship.
We both also enjoyed the Jewish Studies program. We continue to share our heart and bring revelation to the Church of her Hebraic Jewish roots.
I began dancing before the Lord in 1992, but since graduation from Bible College have been privileged to create and direct Halal Dance Ministry which began in 1999. We have been involved in March for Jesus, Come Together in Jesus Name, and have ministered at various churches throughout the city.
His Dancers Studio was birthed in Jan. 2003 Students have been trained in tambourine, flag twirling, streamer, Jewish dance and interpretive worship dance.
His Dancers Praise Banners & Garments began on Ebay in Oct. 2003. We have had almost 3 successful years in this ministry/business.
My hearts desire and calling is to equip the worshipping army of God with garments, flags, streamers, banners, etc. to "Make His Praise Glorious!" Psalm 66:2 and to "Give Him the Glory due His Name" Psalm 96:8 Through understanding the Biblical meaning of colors and the power of raising the banners and flags we are able to make visible the Heavenly and Spiritual things.
I want to see people soar to new heights in worship and adoration as they seek to express the love of God and joy in their hearts through the freedom and vitality of dance using these tools of praise and worship. Our prayer is that as others see the extravagance and exuberance in which we worship and praise our God, they too will want to know Him.
